Who the Course is Aimed at
You can use this course in two ways:
- You can gain a UCHM Diploma in Pastoral Care if you have taken the UCHM Level Two course
- You can use it to advance onto the Advanced Diploma in Counselling course as part of our Christian Counsellor Training Programme

About the Course
This Basic Practice course is part of the Association of Christian Counsellors recognised programme 'The Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Framework for Counselling' and has 27 Open College Network credits at level 3.
It contains 25 sessions and three weekend conferences (150 Guided Learning Hours plus private study).
The course will equip you to integrate the Christian faith with good, professional counselling and ensure that you are working within the ACC/BACP Ethical Framework for counselling.

This course follows on from the Introduction to Christian Counselling Level Two course and progresses to the UCHM Advanced Diploma in Counselling.
