There are currently three groups who are affiliated to UCHM.  They are:

St Mary’s Counselling Centre - Todmorden

Magdalene Project - Bacup

BFC Counselling Service, Billinge, Wigan  

To become an affiliated organisation, the following requirements must be fulfilled:

• Organisations must meet the BACP Accredited Service standards
• Have counsellors that are accredited by ACC or BACP at Diploma level.
• Abide by the ACC or BACP Ethical Framework.
• All counsellors must have undertaken some UCHM training.  The minimum requirement for BACP accredited counsellors, or equivalent, is 50 hours of the Introduction to Counselling Skills in a Christian Setting course.
• All counsellors will have the required BACP minimum of monthly supervision.
• Agree with the UCHM statement of faith.
• Pay the annual affiliation fee.
• Agree to attend regular affiliation meetings.

The process of affiliation is started by making an application to UCHM, and the complete process may take a few months.
